Small Silk Scarf A130
You will receive the exact scarf shown. Each one of my hand-dyed silk scarves is unique. The patterning throughout is asymmetrical to provide artistic representation of all the colors.
Size: Approximately 8 inches x 54 inches. This size is versatile and can be worn in a variety of ways both in your hair and as a neck scarf.
Colors: Predominate colors in several shades of blackberry and raspberry.
Please note colors can appear differently from computer to computer.
Techniques that I use to hand-dye silk scarves are Shibori, salt crystal, and ice. These methods create a color variation throughout the scarf as well as gorgeous marbling and color patterning. Some scarves have one color and others have two to nine. Specks of colorful dye are randomly placed. These techniques add dimension and artistic interest to each scarf. This is all part of the uniqueness and a reflection that this scarf is made by hand and not by a machine. Handmade scarves have creases, crinkles, and wrinkles all of which create the beautiful color patterning.
Care: Hand wash separately in cool water. Line dry. Silk can be worn with the natural crinkly effect it develops as it dries, or it can be ironed on a silk setting while damp.
A description of the process and care instructions are included with the scarf.
